How The Cruise Discount Genie Works

Please note that this website is not affiliated with Carnival Cruise Lines.  The Cruise Discount Genie came about because we love to cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines, the best cruise line in the world.  We love it even more when we can get a cruise discount.

One of the best ways to get a cruise discount is to watch cruise prices daily for drops.  Much like airfare and hotel rooms the price of a cruise can fluctuate monthly, weekly and even daily.  What the Cruise Discount Genie allows you to do is set up a specific Carnival cruise to watch.  The Cruise Discount Genie will then check that cruise daily for price drops.  If there is a price drop the Cruise Discount Genie will then send you an email alerting you to the drop.  You can then book that cruise or request an onboard credit if you have already booked.

How to use the Cruise Discount Genie:

To Use the Cruise Discount Genie you must first register.  Simply click the register button on the right.  Once there you will be asked to choose a username and password and enter your email address where you want to receive cruise discount notifications.  Once this is done click enter.  The Cruise Discount Genie will then send you an email.  Please use common email addresses as we have had a few reports that non common email addresses aren’t getting their emails.

Once you get the email from the Cruise Discount Genie click on it to complete your registration.  Don’t worry we won’t sell or give away your email address.  It is simply used for cruise discount notifications and a promotional email every once in a while.

Your registration with the Cruise Discount Genie is now complete and you can start using the site.  Log in and select find a cruise.  You will then be able to search for a cruise by date, ship, location etc.  Once you have found the Carnival Cruise you want to watch for a cruise discount simply click on watch this cruise.  The Cruise Discount Genie will do the rest.  Each day the Cruise Discount Genie will check the price and if a lower one is found it will send you an email.

The Cruise Discount Genie is currently in its testing phase and we have already had several cruise discounts reported but since it is still in testing we  recommend that you check your price manually a couple of times a week just in case the genie misses a drop.
